2022 National PACE Association Annual Conference Recap
The 2022 National PACE Association (NPA) Annual Conference took place October 9-12 in Seattle showcasing the extensive growth of PACE and offered premiere learning opportunities with PACE programs and experts from across the country. We are proudly working towards a partnership with the National PACE Association and currently work with over 25 programs across 12 states to help catalyze data driven change and empower high-value, multidisciplinary care for older adults.
Our Chief Strategy Officer, Laura Ferrara, presented in four sessions at the conference:
o “Developing a Data Driven Culture”, with co-presenter Susan Decker, Executive Director of Thome PACE
o “Leveraging Data to Improve Participant Outcomes”, with co-presenter Rena Smith, Executive Director of Gary & Mary West PACE
o “PACE Basics”
o “Understanding the CMS 2023 Audit Protocol”
Our team members enjoyed meeting with conference attendees at our booth. We had great discussions about our PACE-specific software analytics platform and our Integrated Care Services (ICS), which aim to help PACE programs Manage Utilization, Compliance, Quality, and Operations. We highlighted how we can help organizations prepare for CMS audits by offering a giveaway for a free CMS Mock Audit. San Diego PACE was the winner of our mock audit raffle. Our ICS team will evaluate the organization’s compliance with regulatory requirements in four key areas of evaluation and provide a measure of current compliance levels and recommendations.
Leadership award winners were announced at the conference including Laura Wagner, Senior Advisor at the MassPACE Association and Mindy Wilds, Associate VP and Executive Director at WelbeHealth. Intus Care is excited to support NPA organizations and continue facilitating PACE innovation.
We look forward to continuing our work with PACE, supporting geriatric care to older adults through real-time data access and integrated services. We’re also excited for the newly launched Palmetto PACE Podcast hosted by John Tucker, which we’re sponsoring to raise PACE awareness and inform the community.
